II. Preparation procedure
A. Put 2% of Tiande brand methanol gasoline additive into 98% methanol. Blend it evenly to get denatured methanol.
B. Then put 15%/20%/30% of denatured methanol into 85%/80%/70% national standard gasoline respectively. Blend them evenly to get finished product—M15, M20 and M30 methanol gasoline.
Preparation procedures of M50, M60, M85 and M100 are the same as the aforesaid.
Remarks: the above said proportion shall be either in volume ratio or in weight ratio. Before mass production, sampling test must be proceeded in advance. Through testing, if the finished product shows no emulsification, no phase separation and seems clear & transparent, you can start the mass production. The finished product can be used immediately once well prepared.
III. Remarks:
A. Water content in methanol used for preparation must be strictly under control: purity of methanol shall be no less than 99.5%. Natural gas to methanol is in higher preference and coal to methanol is also the same. Gasoline shall be 90# or 93# national standard gasoline.
B. For the denatured methanol made by mixing both additive and methanol, it shall be clear and transparent, and then can be put into gasoline.
C. The preparation procedure can be proceeded in oil tanks or in tankers, but it must comply with requirements of safety regulations and there shall be no water or impurities such as rust etc in oil tanks, tankers and their pipelines.
D. Storage facilities shall keep sealed to prevent the entry of outside water (moisture in air included also).
